The Expanse system is comprised of several units, the main unit, the EXP-1032 Expanse Networked Controller, and several secondary units such as the EXP-2024 Door Interface Unit, EXP-2016 Elevator Control, and the EXP-2088 – Dedicated I / O unit.

The more doors and/or interfaces connected to the system, the more cost-effective it is.

EXP-2016 Outputs Interface Unit also referred to as the Elevator Control is a part of Rosslare’s ExpansE distributed access control system family.

The EXP-2016 includes 16 Form-C relay outputs, ideal for elevator control Applications.

The EXP-2016 board is one of 32 EU boards that can be connected to one EXP-1032 control panel (MU) via RS-485 communication.
